About
After graduating from Ontario Institute of Audio Recording Technology in 1990, Matt Baetz worked as a freelance engineer in various studios in Toronto and Eastern Ontario before establishing Longshot Records in 1996. His studio experience includes producing, recording, writing, arranging, mixing and mastering. In addition to projects for bands and solo artists, he has also worked on film soundtracks, corporate videos and commercials.
As a studio musician Matt has appeared on many projects holding credits for guitar, bass, keyboards and computer programming. He currently plays in two bands with recent Longshot produced CDs, Infotourist and with Jeanine Noyes. He has also performed with various artists at venues across Canada and the United States, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland, and City Showcase in London England.
